Ubuntu 11.04 正式版发布了,相信很多朋友一定对Ubuntu 的新界面跃跃欲试吧?不妨安装一下尝尝鲜。老饕介绍过硬盘安装Ubuntu双系统，这当然是一个非常好的方法：刻光盘不用了，直接在硬盘上装就可以了。然而，硬盘安装Ubuntu系统当然还有一定的风险，如果哪个步骤出错了，Ubuntu没装成，视窗也进不去就悲剧了。今天，老饕再介绍一个简单的方法，即制作u盘Ubuntu安装盘，如果朋友们手里面没有现成的光盘，不妨一试。

制作前的准备：

1、下载制作u盘Ubuntu安装盘利器：Universal USB Installer 官方下载。

Universal USB Installer is a Live Linux USB Creator that allows you to choose from a selection of Linux Distributions to put on your USB Flash Drive. The Universal USB Installer is easy to use. Simply choose a Live Linux Distribution, the ISO file, your Flash Drive and, Click Install. Other features include; Persistence (if available), and the ability to format the flash drive (recommended) to ensure a clean install. Upon completion, you should have a ready to run bootable USB Flash Drive with your select Linux version installed.

2、准备一个2G或以上的u盘（最好格式化）。

制作u盘Ubuntu安装盘：

1、运行刚刚下载的Universal USB Installer，点击“I Agree”进入制作界面。

2、选择你需要安装的Ubuntu版本，支持目前最新的Ubuntu11.04。

3、选择你下载的Ubuntu镜像，选择U盘的盘符（想保留U盘数据的不要勾选旁边的方框，但推荐先格式化U盘再制作）。最后指定所使用的空间，选择额定空间时会对安装文件进行一定程度的压缩。

4、点击“Create”开始制作。会跳出即将执行操作的提示框，操作无误的点击确定开始制作u盘版的Ubuntu安装盘。
